Grading Policy

Wanek Grading Policy-

I feel if you come ready to learn and give you best you will have no problems in class. However, some like to know what specifically doing their best might look like so I have created a citizenship rubric for you to compare how you are doing with my expectations of you. Each day I will give a daily citizenship grade for you. It is up to you if you get a "Wow" for the day or something you were prefer not to have next to your name such as not listening, bothering others, disrespectful behavior and so on. These grades will help me determine your overall citizenship grade.

Project will have assigned rubrics for grading of the project. Rubrics will be given at the beginning of the project and posted during the project. My goal in our projects is to see you gain new knowledge and succeed in your work and learn from your mistakes. For each project listening to instructions, asking questions and referring to the rubric is your key to the best grade.

For me grades are a way to give you an idea how you are mastering skills be it in projects or in life as a good citizen. Feel free to always ask if you have questions on where you fall during the grading period. Staying informed will again help you be the most successful.
